Painted Lady Butterfly Photos!

Last Wednesday afternoon our chrysalis started to hatch! It was so much fun watching the butterflies come out over the next few days. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the hatching on film.  It's very hard to get good butterfly photos in the house!

Raising Some Painted Lady Butterflies

When we took the first hatching group out to release one of them landed on dd(3yr) dress. She was so happy! I bet that butterfly thought she was a flower with the bright flowers all over her dress!
